In the beloved Nintendo 64 game “Super Mario 64,” players can unlock Luigi, Mario’s iconic green-clad brother, as a playable character. Unlocking Luigi in “Super Mario 64 DS,” the Nintendo DS remake of the original game, follows a similar process with some additional steps.
To unlock Luigi in “Super Mario 64 DS,” players must first collect 120 Power Stars, which are scattered throughout the game’s various worlds. Once 120 Power Stars have been collected, players must then travel to the castle courtyard and speak to the Toad standing in front of the castle door. The Toad will then inform the player that Luigi has been found and is waiting for them inside the castle. Players can then enter the castle and find Luigi in the main hall, where he will join Mario on his quest to save Princess Peach.
