Ukulele tablature, commonly known as ukulele tabs, is a form of musical notation specific to the ukulele. It provides a simplified method for ukulele players to learn and play songs without the need for traditional sheet music.
Ukulele tabs consist of four horizontal lines that represent the four strings of the ukulele, with the bottom line representing the lowest string and the top line representing the highest string. Numbers are placed on the lines to indicate which fret to press on each string. For example, a “0” on the second line indicates that the second string should be played open, while a “3” on the third line indicates that the third string should be played at the third fret.
